Following the success of its first run, the Backyard Grill at the Park organized by Southern Living and Inquirer Red Magazine will once again host another cookout for a cause and this time it will be in the south!
Come to Ayala Alabang Village’s Makiling Park this Saturday, November 8, 2014 for an afternoon of glorious food, fun activities, and pleasing music. Kids and the kids-at-heart will definitely enjoy the DIY kits, activity sheets, and ukulele workshop. Chow down on Charlie’s Grind and Grill juicy burgers, wings and yummy fries, ROKU Sushi + Ramen ‘s sushi, yakitori and apple pie gyoza, and mouth-watering shrimp, crab, & lobster buns from Bun Appétit! To add to that, we have sweets from the pioneer in cupcakes here in the country, Cupcakes by Sonja. and of course artisanal coffee from Toby’s Estate. Not only will you get to savor some of the most sought-after dishes in the metro, you’ll also get to help those in need as 30% of the food sales will go to each restaurant’s chosen charity. Another attraction to watch out for is the performance by the Ukulele Philippines group.
